MBK The Wave
Combining 4 modalities for optimal treatment results. The Wave offers the flexibility of using the modalities individually or all four simultaneously.

Modalities:
*Ultrasound waves (3 million per minute) act on the body in the following way: they stimulate cells. The tiny massage it produces expands the space in which the cells exist, causing movement of cytoplasm, the rotation of mitochondria, and the vibration of the cell nucleus; it stimulates and expands the cell membrane. It improves local blood and lymph circulation, and increases the penetration of skin enhancing products.

*Biomechanical Vibrations (6000-7000 times per minute) send gentle vibrations that stimulate muscles. The effects are particularly beneficial for speeding up metabolism by improving the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the tissue for smooth healthy skin. This is the mode that I feel that induces the toning!

*Ion+ electrical current draws debris out of the pores for a deep cleanse. Use over top of a cleanser for about 3 minutes.

*Ion- electrical current drives product deeper into the skin creating better hydration and effectiveness of ingredients.

*Red LED 620-630nm: Stimulates fiber cells, improves blood circulation, reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Anti-aging and pigmentation.

*Blue LED 460-470nm: Kills surface bacteria and calms skin.

*Green LED 520-530nm: Kills bacteria at a deeper level to help eliminate acne. Works on pigmentation issues as well.

*Usage: 
There needs to be a product on the skin to conduct the modalities. You may use any water-based gel or high moisture content product for conduction. Remember that you are driving the product deep into your skin so you don’t want to use something with inferior ingredients!! You may apply any serum on the skin before applying your conductive product. Please follow directions given to you by your licensed professional.

Use the Wave in Ion+ mode over any cleanser for a deep cleanse. Use for 2 to 3 minutes.
Use the Wave in the remaining modes for product penetration and lifting for 5 to 10 minutes on each side of the face.
*do not use goggles if you have a latex allergy

Movements:
Apply product to half of the face and neck working that half first for 5 to 10 minutes. Your movements will be upward starting on the lower neck. Make your movements slow with a pause at the end. No need to put pressure, just glide the unit. When finished with the first half of the face apply product to the second half and repeat. Watch the video showing movements on the full face.

If your product dries out a bit just add water. No need to add more product. The unit needs water/moisture to conduct well.
Operation:
Plug the adaptor into device and charge - there will be a “Beep” sound which means the machine is ready to begin charging.

When charging the Wave, the LCD screen will light up in blue. When fully charged, the light will be off. Charging time is around 3 hours, and will allow for 2.5 hours for continuously using.

1. Push the on/off button to turn the machine on. LCD lights up after a beeping sound.
2. Press MODE to select the modality. The flashing modality name is the mode you are on.
3. Then press SHIFT to raise power level of that modality 
4. Press CFM to confirm/lock in that modality.
5. After you’ve set your first modality, press MODE to choose the next modality. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with each modality.
6. Continue to repeat until each modality you want to use is working. If there is a modality that you do not want to use continue to hit MODE to go past that modality. 
7. Timer. The default setting for “auto off” is 15 minutes. When the timer is flashing hit the shift mode to change the time. 19 minutes is the highest amount of time. Once timer is set where you want it press CFM to confirm/lock in that time.
NOTE: lon+& lon- cannot work at the same time.
NOTE: Please be sure your hands are clean of product and dry before using. If not, you will feel the current in your hand.
Cleaning: wipe with anti-bacterial or alcohol wipe after each use. Do not spray alcohol on the unit. Do not immerse unit in liquid.

 
Misc. Info:
It’s fine to use the Wave with fillers and botox. You may find that it even lasts a bit longer because of using the Wave on yourself! Wait a minimum of 10 days before doing the Wave in areas that have been injected. We advise waiting approximately 2 weeks post fillers/botox.

Pro tip for better results: Make sure that you are hydrated. Have a glass of water before you start.

• Metal implants such as pacemakers or electronic monitoring devices
• Metal implants in the mouth or jaw area
• Persons diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma on the face
• Pregnancy
• Persons prone to seizures such as associated with epilepsy
• Persons with phlebitis or thrombosis (only if used on body not face)
• Broken or inflamed areas of skin
• *do not use goggles if you have a latex allergy

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
• Do not charge this device with any other charger. Use only the charger that was supplied.
• Do not place or store the device near water, such as a sink or tub.
• This device should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Keep the AC adapter and device dry.
• To clean after use, simply wipe with an anti-bacterial wipe. 

DO NOT GET THIS DEVICE WET
• Do not operate the device while plugged in.
• Never operate this device if it has a damaged cord or plug.
• Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
• Remove contact lenses before using.
• If you are experiencing serious skin problems, contact your dermatologist.
